Privacy promises
Plain language, and specific to how TravelNurseMap works today. Updated 2026-10-12.
1. No account needed
Hospital guides, state pages, the stipend calculator, the compact license checker and your personal log all work without signing up. An account only adds syncing across devices and sharing with a circle you choose.
2. Your log stays in your browser unless you turn on sync
Without an account, your contracts, rent, spots, notes, taste picks, watchlist and saved offers are stored in this browser's local storage only. We never receive them. If you sign in, your log is stored in our database and protected so only you can read it. Spots and notes you mark “shared” are visible to members of circles you join; rent and contracts are never shared. You can download your log or clear it from this browser any time.
3. Reviews never show your name
When hospital reports launch, you'll sign in to post (to stop spam), but your name, email and account are never shown with a report. Unit-level details appear only after at least three nurses have reported on that unit, so a single traveler can't be identified.
4. We never sell your data
We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it with recruiters, agencies or advertisers. The public data on this site comes from government and open sources (CMS, GSA, NCSBN, Overture Maps), which are cited on each page.
